Valentine's Update

Derek and I had a very nice relaxing Valentines weekend. Saturday we relaxed all day and watched a movie. Then we went to my parent's house for dinner. They had a bunch of people over that we hadn't seen in awhile so that was nice.

Sunday we slept in and went to brunch and then watched another movie. We skipped church which is something we rarely do but I was beyond exhausted. We then got ready and went to church for a Valentine's dinner. This is one of our favorite events at church. We ate dinner with some good friends and enjoyed our evening.

Derek reminded me in my card that this was the last Valentines Day just us which made me a little sad. I can't wait for Deacon to join our family but I have cherished my time with Derek and know that there will be things I will miss. We know that next Valentines Day will be a whole new adventure!
