Deacon's Bedding

Deacon's bedding has been ordered! Some of the fabrics are on backorder until 2/24 so we won't have it in our possession until sometime in early March. We are having curtains made and the glider recovered to match the bedding.



We can't wait to really get started on his bedroom. My dad and Derek are making a toybox with bookshelves on top. We rearranged the nursery already and chose a bigger wall for this piece so now it is going to be more like a wall unit. We had a heck of time coming up with the measurements for this piece. We called Jill and had her measure Jackson's tallest book so we made sure each shelf was tall enough. The top of the toy box will have a large cushion with several pillows and then the top will be bookshelves. It's hard to imagine but stay tuned for the finished product! My mom and I have this image of him laying up there on his belly reading his books. If he is anything like most of the boys we know-climbing the shelves and jumping off will be more like it! That's why I'm resting now. I think a little boy is going to rock our world!
