Derek and I never had a grill in Dawson Springs because we didn't have the best set-up there to grill. When we moved last July we were so busy getting the house ready that we never bought one and then winter came so we decided to wait until spring. We bought one in late February and it has been one of the best purchases ever. I think it would rank right up there with the hottub. It is something that we can do together and we have so much fun. Before we would always go out to eat on the 2 nights a week that Derek had off but now we would much rather stay here. I think it will be perfect to hang out in the backyard grilling with Deacon in his bouncer and Maddy on her leash when Deacon is too young to venture out.
Sunday was the perfect family day. We went to church, took a nap, set outside in the sun, cleaned the house, went to wal-mart, and then had our own grill-out just the 3 (almost 4) of us. The food was amazing and I enjoyed reading my book while Derek cooked. We finished off the night with Frosty's. I love our quality time together!

Derek took this of me reading my book. I wasn't going to read this book until the thank you notes were done but I couldn't put it down. I'm taking every chance I can to read now because I may not have time later!
Daddy and Maddy- we put her on her leash and hook her to a chair and she just roams around.
